Italy’s Christmas magic is returning to the rails this winter with the Espresso Assisi: Christmas Markets Edition, a special tourist train operated by FS Treni Turistici Italiani (TTI). This scenic route offers travelers a nostalgic and festive way to connect Rome to Arezzo, passing through the beautiful regions of Umbria and Tuscany.

The Espresso Assisi is an official tourist train managed by the national railway group, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.
- Route: The itinerary links Rome to Arezzo, with stops in the heart of Umbria: Rome→Terni→Spoleto→Foligno→Spello→Assisi→Perugia→Arezzo
- Onboard Experience: Passengers enjoy festive decorations, Christmas music, a small holiday gift, and available bar service in the dining car.
- Classes: Tickets are available in Exclusive Lounge, First Class, and Second Class seats, all specially decorated for the season.

The Christmas Markets Edition runs exclusively on Sundays during the holiday period.
